1 Year Anniversary Trip

This last November, Brad and I got to go to Seattle to celebrate our anniversary which is on November 19th. We had so much fun exploring the city and enjoying the sites in a city that we had never been to. We drove about 13 1/2 hours there and back and that was honestly the worst part about the trip, but we still found ways to make it fun. I spent the time watching I Love Lucy episodes and The Office and we listened to a lot of music. We also played a game called "lets see how many times we can get pulled over in one car ride." haha The trip was amazing and it was so good to get away from our busy schedules of work and school and just enjoy each other's company. This last year has been the best of my life and I'm so grateful for the decision I made to marry Brad(my knight in shining armor). Everyday my love for Brad grows beyond what I ever imagined possible! I'm so grateful that we get to be together forever and always :) The following pictures are from our trip and I'll explain them as we go.

Brad and I went to see the movie Wreck It Ralph at the theater that was close to our hotel. The movie tickets were $10.50 a piece which I thought was insane. We loved this movie though so I guess it was worth it. So fun! This picture is of Brad acting like a gangster :) Isn't he so handsome?

This is the Theo Chocolate factory. Brad and I thought it would be fun to take a tour. We didn't know that it was organic chocolate factory. We still had fun sampling the chocolate and looking like middle school lunch workers with our hair nets. haha

Brad surprised me and bought tickets to see WICKED! This is the Paramount theater where the play was at. I tried to get some pictures that showed what it looked like on the inside. It was an older place and the architecture was beautiful! I particularly love the drinking fountain pictured above.

While we were in Seattle we got to go do a session at the temple. We went back later to take some pictures. It was fun to walk around and take all the pictures even though it was raining the whole time.

This a few pics of our glasses that we filled with sparkling cider and toasted in our one year anniversary. This was late Sunday night, November 18th.

Ferris Wheel right on the coast.
Some night pics of Seattle

This is my main man just driving through the boring state of Idaho. This picture is out of order but oh well.
We went and had lunch here at the Space Needle and the view from the top was pretty awesome! The food on the other hand was. . . not so great. This is the view from the top of the Space needle, a nice lady stopped and took a picture for us. Also a Space needle pic of my cute hubby!

The above pictures are from us exploring the shops at Pike Place Market. The top one is  Brad with a cardboard cutout of Severus Snape. We thought we would get a picture of it because we were not about to pay $50 to buy it.

This is a music museum, it cost too much to go through the actual museum so we just explored the  gift shop and we had a lot of fun doing that! Brad was found playing this giant guitar. ;)

These pics are from the Seattle Aquarium. Brad is touching a starfish in the above picture.  I didn't want to do that because all the star fish were fat and gross. The other picture is of Brad standing under a glass circle of jelly fish. Next is an octopus that we found interesting. The next pic is of me in the aquarium gift shop trying on the stylish hats they have there. I thought I was pretty funny :)

Overall, this trip was so fun and well worth the drive. We had a blast celebrating our anniversary. Thanks Brad for spoiling me with the trip and the best year of my life so far. You're the greatest husband I could have ever hoped for:) Love you babe!

  2. I'm glad you guys got to go! I can't believe you've already been married a year. It's amazing to me how fast time flies! I'm so glad you guys had fun, and that you got married, and that you loved the wicked tickets, and that you put that shark thing on your head, and that Brad wore those cool sunglasses, and that I rememebered the name of your blog on my new computer, and that you are my friends. The End.
